Primary goal: To become the leading supplier of affordable, high-quality nutritional flour products in Somalia.<\/p>

Objectives<\/strong><\/p>

  • Provide reliable market access for locally grown crops.<\/li>
  • Build consumer awareness of the benefits of consuming locally processed foods.<\/li>
  • Strengthen national food security and reduce dependency on imported staples.<\/li>
  • Create sustainable employment opportunities for Somali youth.<\/li>
  • Produce affordable staple food tailored to middle- and low-income families.<\/li><\/ul>

    Capacity & Facilities<\/strong>
    Somgrain\u2019s facilities were designed for scale and resilience:<\/p>

    • Storage: 11,000 metric tons (MT) silo capacity.<\/li>
    • Milling capacity: Industrial mill capable of producing up to 90 MT of finished, sifted flour per day.<\/li>
